Estrogenuinely aroused
I used to do a post every now and then (thrice?) that I called 'women I love' or something. I haven't done it in years but I just recently observed how girly my listening has become. They're taking over my record player and I'm happy about it. I don't even know how it happened but I'm into tons of girl shit and I think I love them all. Mostly, these 5 are totally peaking and I'd like all or any combination of them whatsoever for dating or a serious relationship. In no order...all lovely and not a lilith contender in the bunch.  It's that Portland girl, Liz, who records as Grouper. I talked about her before but now I have four lps!  I talked about these guys too but I think I may love Mira the most of all, if I have to choose. It's that fucking clear and awesome voice. She's buried a bit in this track but it'sa a nice one from the ep and I've been loving it lately.  Foxy Japanese black metal/punk trio who wear Burzum shirts and rock like fuck? Yes, please! And I've only listened to the first of the double lp set. It was instant for me.  Two remarkably hot LA girls barely in their 20s who are into droning/dubby wailing! They were made for me!  And lastly, but not at all least, Marcia Bassett of Double Leopards, Sunroof, GHQ and her solo goods, Zaimph. The only one I've actually met. I was buying a record after the Magik Markers gig and she asked me if I liked the show. I said, "Yeah." I already had the GHQ record so I didn't want to buy it again and say, "Let's fuck, by the way." So, I didn't. She was very smiley to me (and nobody else!) and wore a nice, vintage corduroy jacket in navy. No posters. |
